Basic health-care plan
With ONVZ’s Vrije Keuze basic health-care plan, you don’t just receive the best possible health care, you also get to choose for yourself which doctor to see and in which hospital to be treated. Our outstanding service and personal attention help you to make excellent choices when it comes to health and health care, such as when you need health-care mediation or a second opinion.
Supplementary health-care plans
Everyone wants to stay healthy. If you need health care anyway, ONVZ Vrije Keuze offers you a first-class supplementary health-care plan, with a broad selection of health-care providers, excellent service and very generous coverage. Choose the supplementary health-care plan that suits your needs best.
Dental health care plans
The basic health-care plan covers the majority of dental expenses up to the age of 18. However, if you are aged 18 or above, your dental expenses will no longer be reimbursed. So why not take out ONVZ Vrije Keuze Tandfit?
OntzorgPlus (supplementary)
With ONVZ Vrije Keuze OntzorgPlus supplementary health-care plan, you will be able to count on the best possible help in emergency situations. High costs that are commonly incurred in emergency situations are also covered.
Wereldfit (supplementary)
Many people need more extensive coverage than the coverage their basic health-care plan offers abroad. This is why ONVZ Vrije Keuze offers Wereldfit. A supplementary health-care plan for all urgent medical expenses incurred abroad.
International health care plans
If you are not (or no longer) eligible for a Dutch basic health-care plan, ONVZ Vrije Keuze offers 2 international health care plans: Health Basic and Health Premium. It is not possible to take out a supplementary and/or dental health-care plan along with Health Basic and Health Premium.

Many health-care providers send the invoice directly to us, and we pay the health-care provider directly. If in the end you still have to pay a part of the costs yourself, we will invoice you for the amount you have to pay yourself.

Maximum reimbursements for ONVZ Vrije Keuze
You can use our Zorgzoeker online search tool to see which health-care providers have a contract with us. For a few types of health care, a maximum reimbursement applies for non-contracted health-care providers. This reimbursement is based on a percentage of a predetermined rate, usually the average contracted rate. For ONVZ Vrije Keuze, this percentage is capped at 85%.
