Werkfit

Happy and fit employees perform better and are absent less often. This is why your employees get Werkfit for free with a collective ONVZ basic health-care plan. Werkfit allows your employees to make use of attractive coverage to stay fit and healthy. This way we can improve their vitality and happiness, and reduce their (sickness) absence.

Experience the benefits of Werkfit

Would you also like to offer your employees Werkfit for free? You can do so with a collective ONVZ health-care plan.

The MOT test for your health: the health check-up valued at €100

Do you know what your cholesterol levels are, or your BMI? Or the reasons why you are stressed? The motto for maintaining your health is: measuring is knowing. A preventive health check-up is a good starting point. The check-up provides insight into your personal (mental) health, possible health risks and what you can do yourself to work on them.

You can choose between a mental and a physical health check-up. The mental health check-up (GRIP Energy Meter) is online and we provide full coverage for this. The physical health check-up can be done both online and on location; on location it costs about €200. Werkfit will reimburse half of these costs (max. €100 and no more than once per calendar year).

Three free physiotherapy sessions

If you suffer from physical symptoms when moving, or if you’ve been injured while exercising, it’s nice to know that you can get three (additional) sessions with a physiotherapist of your choice (including online) through Werkfit. If you have a supplementary health-care plan, these sessions will be added to the coverage it provides.

€500 coverage for training and courses on how to cope with stress at work

The same applies to stress-related complaints: prevention is better than cure. If you have a conflict at work, if you’re having difficulty setting boundaries, if the pressure you feel at work is too high, or if your work-life balance is skewed, Werkfit offers four different solutions valued at €500, which you can use to tackle your stress-related complaints. You can choose between:

  1. Online coaching programme
For many people it’s nice to talk to an online coach every now and then to prevent or tackle work-related stress. Online coaching is easily accessible. You will talk to a psychologist via a video link, so the approach is always personal. An online coaching programme lasts an average of three hours, including a 30-minute intake interview. The rest of the time is divided up into shorter sessions, so you can have frequent contact lasting 20-30 minutes for 1-2 months. It’s a short and fast programme, which eliminates your stress-related complaints in a targeted manner. Werkfit reimburses a complete online coaching programme through HeyCoach.

  2. Running therapy
If you’d prefer to be a bit more active to alleviate your stress-related complaints, you may consider running therapy. Running therapy consists of a number of sessions in which you go running with a therapist in natural surroundings. You can search for an accredited running therapist close to you who is a member of the professional association BRTN (Beroepsvereniging RunningTherapie Nederland). Werkfit will reimburse a maximum of €500.

  3. Individual or group coaching
If your mental MOT test shows that you could sometimes use some support in preventing stress, you can also use the €500 budget for individual or group coaching. This coaching is provided by GRIP, the organisation where you can also have your mental MOT test (Energy Meter) done.

  4. Tackling menopausal symptoms
According to research by Statistics Netherlands and TNO, more than half of menopausal women are also affected by their symptoms at work. How can you recognise these symptoms? And what can you do about them? Especially for menopausal women, we are offering the ‘Overgang en hormonen’ (Menopause and hormones) programme free of charge through our partner Ook leuke meisjes worden vijftig (Nice girls turn 50 too). This will help you improve your lifestyle, mood and sex life, and reduce (mental) menopausal symptoms. The Ook leuke meisjes worden vijftig programmes are based on many years of experience and scientific research.

€250 coverage for additional psychological health care

Werkfit includes even more health care and self-help, such as €250 coverage for additional psychological health care. This enables you to visit a psychologist two or three times for a consultation, depending on the length of the consultation and the rates charged by the psychologist. Check this before making an appointment. If you have Vrije Keuze and a supplementary Optifit plan or higher, this coverage will be on top of the coverage provided by that plan.

Mirro online self-help modules

If a visit to a psychologist, online coaching or running therapy feels like too much at once, you can start out by yourself with the Mirro online self-help modules for work-related stress, improving your sleep, working from home or feedback and conflict handling. You can use these free of charge.
